In my 800 days of daily drawing challenge, I discovered that automatic drawings are something that I inclined towards to and enjoyable. I relate to Piet Mondrian’s suggestion that abstraction, which implies the destruction of the incidental, outward image of reality, could be used to portray a purer image of that reality and to represent a higher stage in evolution. In a way, my drawings are not of what we observed in our material world but possibly the true reality behind the illusions that make up the visible world.
