In this explainer video for PAX Gold (PAXG), a digital asset where each token represents ownership of one fine troy ounce of a London Good Delivery gold bar, I was responsible for the design direction, and co-designed and animated the entire video with Kagan Marks.
Creative Direction
To emphasize the equivalency between PAX Gold and physical gold, we crafted a narrative illustrated through 3D designs. The transformation of tangible gold into its digital form PAXG is illustrated through a technological fragmentation into data objects symbolized by cubes. Furthermore, to vividly showcase digital ownership and affirm PAXG’s status as a tradable digital asset, we present an immersive view of the PAXG asset overview screen on a smartphone.
