For International Women’s Day, Turner Classic Movies released a social piece celebrating iconic actresses from classic film, a statement of empowerment and gender equality.
Design
Working with editors means faster turnarounds and a lot of creative freedom. They hand me temporary graphics for timing, layout and duration; my job is to read the vibe of the cut and craft motion that carries each segment.

Type Animation
Type animation is about 80% of my TCM work. I start with quick motion sketches to see how many variations I can find (“fail faster, and fail harder”) before settling on one. Everything here uses After Effects text animators with range, wiggle and expression selectors.
